Council meeting re-located to Activity Center

The City Council Meeting scheduled for Monday, July 12, 2021 at 7 p.m. has been relocated to the Activity Center at 401 Washington Street, Newburgh, New York 12550.  

It is expected that the City Council will convene in executive session on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 6 p.m. The executive session is expected to last 1 hour and the regularly scheduled City Council meeting will convene in public session at approximately 7p.m. on Monday, July 12, 2021.

During the meeting, the City Council will receive comments from the public concerning a Local Law amending City Charter Article XI “Police Department” and receive comments from the public regarding the CFA Brownfield Opportunity Area Grant.  

Members of the public who wish to provide comments during the public hearing, the agenda and general matters comment period during the Council meetings must attend in person.  Everyone attending the regular Council meeting is required to wear a face mask at all times while inside the Activity Center.  

Livestreaming will not be available for the Monday, July 12, 2021 Council Meeting at the Activity Center, the meeting will be videotaped and archived on the City of Newburgh’s website.
