One of first actions President Biden did after taking office on January 20 was to stop the construction of the southern border wall. Now over $100 million of pre-fabricated border wall panels, enough to build an additional 100 miles of wall, lay dormant and rusting in Pharr, Texas. $100 million in border wall materials wasted in Texas: report (nypost.com).

Customs and Border Patrol reported a record-breaking total of 1.7 million apprehensions of illegal immigrants at our southern border during FY21. Record-Breaking 1.7 Million Migrants. Apprehensions At Border in 2021 Fiscal Year, Soaring To Highest Level Ever, The Floridian (floridianpress.com). That number does not include the estimated 400,000 “gotaways” that sneaked past Border Agents this past FY. More than 400,000 sneaked over southern border and got away in past year, former Border Patrol head says (Washington Examiner). This invasion of migrants has some Texas residents wearing firearms when they go outside their homes for fear of the illegals. Illegals Are Now So Bad That My Mom Won’t Water Flowers Without a Gun: TX Resident (westernjournal.com). Texas farmers, including those who live hundreds of miles north of the border, are asking the Biden Administration to pay for damages caused by human smugglers driving vehicles through their fields of crops, residences broken into, and families left stranded on their property. Farmers want Biden to pay for damage from illegal immigration (nypost.com).

Meanwhile as Texas residents fear for their lives, our own Department of Homeland Security has decided to build some security fencing. Over $455 million of taxpayer dollars will be spent to build ‘security fencing’ around Biden’s “Summer White House” beach home. DHS $455K for ‘security fencing’ around Biden’s beach home (nypost.com).
