Alina Ferguson threw a complete game five-hitter with four strikeouts in the Newburgh Free Academy softball team’s 7-2 non-league victory over Beacon on Thursday at NFA North.

Ferguson also had a bunt single, a double and a run scored. She also drove in a run.

Ali Miller added an RBI single for the Goldbacks with a run scored.
