Four of the five Newburgh Goldbacks youth football teams traveled to Lasser Park in Salisbury Mills on Saturday to face the Washingtonville Wizards in Orange County Youth Football League Action.

The day started with a contest between the two town’s Mighty Mites teams. Score is not kept at that level.

The Mighty Mites contest was followed by the Division I game between the two teams. The score of that game was unavailable.

The Division 3 Goldbacks defeated Washingtonville 26-0, and the Division 2 Goldbacks Gold team finished the night by defeating the Wizards, 27-8.

The Division 2 Newburgh Blue team went to Warwick to face Warwick Gold.
