The City of Newburgh is pleased to announce the start of construction of the Liberty Street Streetscape Improvements project.

The project consists of the complete reconstruction of Liberty Street between Broadway and Ann Street. Construction work will commence on April 15 and shall extend through July 24, 2021.

Temporary NO PARKING signs will be posted in the construction corridor throughout the duration of the project. Full and partial road closures along this section of Liberty Street should be anticipated.

Please pay attention and obey all posted road closure and no parking restriction signs. Parking is available along the surrounding streets and in the City owned Parking lot on Ann Street. Access to local businesses will be maintained during construction.
