Melissa K. Cass passed away at Vassar Brothers Medical Center on March 6, 2022. She was 72 years old.
In 1968 she married her loving husband of 54 years, Michael Cass. Melissa spent the bulk of her career in the math department at SUNY New Paltz.
She was a consummate host and adored throwing a party, surrounded by those she loved. She is survived by her three children and their spouses, her grandchildren - the three of which were the absolute light of her life - and also by her six siblings and a large loving extended family.
