Winona Lake Firefighters responded to a two-car motor vehicle accident in front of Stop and Shop on Route 300 on March 1. Town of Newburgh Police and EMS were at the scene. Firefighters spread speedy dry on the fluids onthe roadway and checked vehicles for hazards. EMS was evaluating drivers of the vehicles. Southbound traffic was diverted into shopping plaza until vehicles were removed. Town of Newburgh Police are investigating the cause.
