Nancy J. Hines, of Newburgh, entered into rest on Monday, January 11, 2021. She was 89.
Daughter of the late Francis J. and Madeline E. (White) Wolfrum, she was born on September 6, 1931 in Syracuse, NY.
Nancy was a retired switchboard operator for St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital. She was the former owner of the Leptondale Market and worked for Meals on Wheels of Greater Newburgh for 20 years. Nancy was also a member of the Hudson Valley Christian Church, and was the owner of Tree’s No Trouble from 1986 until 2003.
She is survived by three sons, g. Allen Hines and, Steven Hines, both of Newburgh, and Douglas (Irmguard) Hines of Vienna, Austria; and four grandchildren, Sandra, Sabina, Mark and Amber.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. at White, Venuto and Morrill Funeral and Cremation Service, 188 N. Plank Road, Newburgh, NY.
A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 11 a.m., at the Funeral Home, with Pastor Mike Negron officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, New Windsor.
