Residents can enjoy a jam-packed, holiday celebration during the village’s annual “An Olde Fashioned Holiday,” hosted all day throughout the municipality on Saturday, December 14
.
The celebration will start with the Montgomery Fire Department, which will sell trees and wreaths between 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at 136 Ward Street.This family-friendly celebration will feature a festive array of craft vendors, holiday-themed activities, and a new lighted tractor parade, plus a tree-lighting ceremony.
The event offers numerous activities throughout the day, including a selection of food trucks and vendors available from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Clinton Street and in the municipal lot. Kids can enjoy crafts and face painting in the municipal parking lot from 1 to 3 p.m., and families can take part in wagon rides near the museum on Wallkill Avenue from 3 to 5 p.m. A live nativity will be hosted by the Presbyterian Church from 3 to 5 p.m., and free hot chocolate will be available at St. Mary’s Church, courtesy of the Knights of Columbus.
