Repair Cafe

Posted

The Town of Montgomery Conservation Advisory Council and the Josephine Louise Public Library are hosting a Repair Cafe where you bring your broken household items to be fixed for free, or at a nominal fee for any parts used. It is a conservation tactic that is becoming popular to save the broken items from a landfill. Check out the website for our segment on The Today Show! We are in need of people who know how to fix things and would like to donate some time. The items we will offer to fix depends on who we get that can fix them. Right now we can handle textiles and items that need sewing, lamps, wooden items, jewelry and miscellaneous. Looking for an electronics fixer and whatever else anyone can offer to fix.
