Robert Busch, 78 of the Town of Newburgh died Wednesday, January 13, 2021. He was born on July 27, 1942 in Richmond Hill, Queens, NY. The son of the late Richard and Elsie Busch.
Robert graduated from City University of New York; after he finished his schooling Robert worked for Banta Publishing Co. after a career in book manufacturing and sales. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Kathryn (Wilson Lang) Busch; his children Douglas (Amanda) Busch of Riverhead, NY, Adrienne Davet of Cornwall-on-the-Hudson, NY, Bryan (Marisa) Busch of Larchmont, NY and step daughter Katey Lang (Tamer) Hassan of Hastings-on-Hudson, NY; grandchildren Olivia, Eva, Hudson, Alexandria, Luke, Sawyer, Grayson and Pippa; sister Audrey Frey of Hilton Head, SC.
In addition to his parents Robert is predeceased by his brother Richard Busch, sisters Claire Ziaya and Marjorie Sauer and son-in-law Donald Davet.
A memorial celebration of Bob’s life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Food Bank of the Hudson Valley.
