Hello New Windsor. Recently my wife’s knee was bothering her and she went to the doctor who recommended a knee replacement. But because she had a serious knee surgery 20 years ago we went to see a specialist at NYU Langone in New York City. The specialist had an opening the following week and the surgery was set. So we had less than a week to prepare for my wife to have major surgery and be out of commission for the next 8-10 weeks.

The day of the surgery we had a lot of time to kill so we walked around the city and had lunch.

Only problem was my wife could not eat or drink after 12 midnight the night before. I ended up having lunch at a Steak House called Bobby Van’s and it was very good, though my meal was $100. We went to the hospital, and she had a successful surgery. We had to stay over night and I was allowed to stay with her, though they just had this regular wooden chair so sleeping was out of the question for me. She was released the next day, and she is home and on the way to recovery!
