St. Mary’s Outreach will be hosting their November Giving Day on Friday, November 18 at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center located at 321 South William St. The gate to the event opens at nine in the morning Friday and residents are asked to bring totes or a cart.
Residents will have the opportunity to collect, while supplies last, turkeys, oil, almonds, coffee, beef, chicken, eggs, pork, tuna, apples, mixed fruit and various other foods. Other items included vitamins, beauty items, toothpaste/brushes, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, new coats, baby food, diapers and housewares. The event encourages all those who plan to attend to maintain social distance, to not bring pets and no saving of places in line is permitted. A form of ID and any kind of mail are required.
Giving Days are to be held on every third Friday of the month and the next Giving Day will be on December 16. Any additional questions call 845-566-1425.
