The Newburgh Town Board approved the request made by Councilman Paul Ruggiero to request from the New York State Department of Transportation a traffic study to be conducted at the intersections of Route 9W with Overlook Road, Lattintown Road and Old Post Road.
The traffic study was prompted by growing concerns over the safety of residents, and the determination of whether or not to install lights or additional signage at those sites will be determined by the study.
