Vehicle Fire Contained Orange Lake Fire Department were dispatched at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, March 8 to 2 Sylvester Court to contain a vehicle fire. Fire Chief William Lynn upon arrival reported that the vehicle, which was parked in the driveway, was threatening the residential property. Winona Lake Fire Department assistance was requested by Chief Lynn and after containment and eventual putting out of the fire, the residential unit only sustained exterior damage. No damage was reported inside of the home. The scene was turned over to the Town of Newburgh Fire Inspector’s office for further analysis. No cause was identified.
