Vincent L. Guerino, of the Town of Newburgh, entered into rest on Thursday, January 20, 2022, He was 96.

Son of the late Henry and Angelina (Scopetone) Guerino, he was born on November 25, 1925 in Bronx, NY.

A longtime Newburgh resident, Vinnie, as he was known to family and friends proudly served his country in the US Navy during WWII, serving in the Pacific Theater on the USS Intrepid. He was the retired owner & operator of Vinnie’s Service in the Town of Newburgh. After retiring, he worked as a Court Officer for the Town of Newburgh. He was a member of the Newburgh Yacht Club, a life member of the Goodwill Fire Department and a member of the New Windsor Post 1796 American Legion. Vinnie was known for his homemade wine and loved tinkering with his cars.

Survivors include a daughter, Debra L. (Kevin) Cunningham of Myrtle Beach, SC; a son, Vincent M. (June) Guerino of Bloomingburg, NY; a sister, Bernadette Ciprani of Mt. Vernon, NY; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Jeremy) McPhillips, Kevin Cunningham and Adam Guerino and four great grandchildren, Abigail, Kaiden, J.J. and Kyah.

In addition to his parents, Vincent was predeceased by two wives, Eleanor (Doyle) Guerino and Lena (Cavaliere) Guerino.

Private cremation and Innitchment will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory.
