William C. Haskin, Jr., of New Windsor, and a lifelong area resident, entered  into rest on Thursday, May 6, 2021. He was 79.

Son of the late William C. Haskins, Sr., and Margaret (McCullough) Haskins, he was born February 5, 1942 in Cornwall, NY.

“Bill” as he was known to friends and family, was a retired painter for MacBeth Corp, Newburgh, NY. Bill was also a former longtime member of the Cornwall Yacht Club.

Survivors include a niece, Margaret “Peggy” J. Madonia; a nephew Harry O. Papazian; a great niece, Donna Madonia; a great great nephew, Markiss Price and a great great niece Nevach.

In addition to his parents he is predeceased by a sister, Margaret Ann Haskin.

Private cremation has taken place at Cedar Hill Crematory.

Memorial Visitation will be from 11 am to 1: pm on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at White, Venuto and Morrill Funeral and Cremation Service, 188 N. Plank Road, Newburgh

A Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm, at the Funeral Home, with Deacon Thomas L. Neppl officiating.

Due to the continued public health concerns, please know that there is an occupancy limitation which may cause a wait time, please be respectful of your time visiting. Facial covering must be worn in the funeral home at all times, and social distancing must be practiced.

Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor, NY.
