William C. Slevin, of the Town of Newburgh, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 5, 2021. He was 75.

Son of the late William E. and Jean (Russell) Slevin, he was born on January 23, 1946 in Hartford, CT.

“Bill” as he was known to friends and family was a retired electronics technician at U.S.M.A., West Point,  NY. He also proudly served his country in the US Navy from 1968 to 1970. Bill was an amateur radio operator and a member of the American Radio Relay League, and was a private aviation pilot. He also loved photography. 

He is survived by a cousin, Lucille Ferraro of Amsterdam, NY; and a step granddaughter, Dawna Marie Guldan.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by  his wife, Carol A. (Carlson) Slevin and a step daughter, Lucille VanDemark.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors, will take place 1  p.m .on Monday, May 10, 2021 at the Orange County Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen.
