D. Kevin Quigley, of Palm Coast, FL entered into eternal rest on June 23, 2026 at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was 72 years old.
The son of the late Hugh A. Quigley and Kathleen (McNamara) Quigley, Kevin was born on July 18, 1953 in Beacon, NY.
Kevin attended SUNY Canton and earned an Associate’s Degree in Mortuary Science. He was a Licensed NYS Funeral Director for over 50 years and founding partner, with his brother Gerard, of Quigley Bros. Funeral Home in Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. He was a Member of the Orange, Rockland & Sullivan Counties Funeral Directors Association as well as the New York State Funeral Directors Association. Kevin was a Former Chief Coroner of Orange County. He also served as Councilman and Supervisor for the Town of Cornwall, NY. He was an active member of the Parkview Church.
A family statement reads: "Our father built something rare — a name that stands for integrity, service, and genuine love for the community he called home. The legacy of that work lives on in everything he touched and everyone he raised. The outpouring of love and support we have received has been overwhelming, and our family is deeply grateful for every kind word, every memory shared, and every hand extended in his honor."
He will be missed greatly.
In addition to his parents, Kevin was preceded in death by his beloved wife: Diane R. (Wadsley) Quigley; and his twin brother: J. Gerard Quigley. He is survived by his loving daughters: Kate A. (Quigley) Lewis and her husband
Jon; Aileen Quigley Coe; by his grandchildren: Raeghan and Koda Lewis; by his sister: Kathleen Quigley; by his brothers: Hugh Quigley and his wife Margaret and Patrick Quigley and his wife Joanne; his sister-in-law: Barbara (Kosjaniuk) Quigley; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Visitation for Kevin and Diane will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24th at Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. Reflections will be held immediately following the Visitation. Inurnment will take place in the family plot at St. Thomas Cemetery in Cornwall, NY.
