Geralyn A. Hydock passed away on August 1, 2024, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Newburgh, NY. She was 66 years old. Daughter of the late Joan (Schmidt) Cooper, she was born on May 7, 1958, in Cornwall, NY.
Geralyn dedicated her life to being a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a grandmother. She was also an avid animal lover who supported the humane society in Highland Falls.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, David J. Hydock of Highland Falls, NY; children: Michael Hydock and his wife, Amanda, of Montgomery, TX; James Hydock, Andrew Hydock, and Michelle Hydock, also of Highland Falls, NY; brother, Michael Cooper and his wife, Kim, of Commack, NY; and beloved grandchildren: Cooper and Everly Hydock.
Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope, NY, and a burial of cremains will take place at Eagle Valley Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to a local humane society of one's choice.
