Grand Montgomery Chamber Music Series

The wind quartet "Vent Nouveau" ushers in a new season of the Grand Montgomery Chamber Music Series on Sunday, September 24. Sunday’s program features an original composition, Woodwind Quartet in C Major, by Aleksander Vezuli, artistic director and manager of the Grand Montgomery Chamber Music Series, as well as some old favorites: Moon River for flute and bassoon, an adaptation from the classic film Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Jay Ungar’s Ashokan Farewell, popularized by filmmaker Ken Burns in his Civil War series. This concert series, founded by Howard and Judy Garrett, is made possible by the generous support of the Village of Montgomery.Other sponsors include the Town of Montgomery, Historic Montgomery Association, Allen D. Levin, Lawrence Ravdin, Angelo & Cynthia Pagano, Roberta L. Blanch, John & Marie Loux, Derek & Leida De Freitas. Any donation will be greatly appreciated.
