Anthony W. Brennie, 76, of Highland passed away on September 27, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.
Anthony was born on August 11, 1944 in Highland. He was the middle child of the late Vito and Mary Brennie. Anthony graduated from Highland High School in 1963. He retired from IBM in 1995, after thirty years of service. He married Sarah Chapman on August 11, 1969.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Brennie, son, Anthony Brennie and his fiance Courtney Pellicane, daughter, Denise Scott and her husband Brian Scott, and step-son, Ryan Blakley. Anthony has four grand-children: Jake, Paige, Trent and Ava. He is also survived by his brother, John Brennie and wife Mary and his sister Denise Collins and husband Brian. He was a loving uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Anthony was an avid sports enthusiast and loved the New York Yankees. He had a wicked sense of humor and always made people laugh. He was loved by all that knew him.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, October 1 at St. Augustine’s RC Church, followed by burial in Highland Cemetery.
