Plattekill Library provides kids craft packs
The Plattekill Public Library is conducting a Kids Craft Pack giveaway this week. Receive a bag filled with craft kits for your child to do at home. Pick up any day through Feb. 19. Registration is required as supply is limited. Please register each child individually through the library’s online calendar at Plattekill.lib.ny.us. The library is located at 2047 Route 32, Modena.
St. Augustine’s Thrift Shop welcomes donations
All puzzles, games and winter coats are on sale for half price at St. Augustine’s “One More Time” Thrift Shop, located at 35 Phillips Ave Highland. Hours are Tuesday and Thursday, 12 - 3 p.m., Wednesday, 4 - 7 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Please drop donations during the above business hours or Monday - Friday between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Please do not leave items outside. The thrift store access cash only, and accepts no bills larger than 50.
Sub zero heroes returns in March
If you’re interested in freezing for a good reason, please visit subzeroheores.org today to register for our icy plunge into Berean Lake on Saturday, March 12. All proceeds will help the Alzheimer’s Association Hudson Valley NY Chapter continue to provide free care and support for families impacted by Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.
