Betsy Lou Wilklow of Marlboro,passed away peacefully on October 15, 2021 at Kaplan House in Newburgh, NY after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 86 years old.
She was born on March 30, 1935 to Irene and John D. Hutchins of the town of Marlboro, NY.
Betsy retired from M&T Bank in Newburgh, NY in 1998 where she was employed as a Customer Service Representative for many years.
She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years William, her sons William with his partner Renee, and Jay with his partner Kim her grandchildren Tara and Kathryn, her sister Donna with her husband Carl, her niece Shari with her husband Keith and many nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her sister Sharon.
Betsy was a loving, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and Aunt. The well being of her family was her first priority in life. She was kind, gentle and loved unconditionally. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, watching the Yankees with her husband and spending time with all her family and friends. She will be missed by many because she made the world a better place just by being her.
A service at Chapel Hill Church in Marlboro, NY will be announced in the spring of 2022.
