Contra Dance to the Walker Family Band

Posted

Jeff and Kathy Walker have been playing for dancers throughout New York and New England for over 30 years.  Kathy's "Hudson Valley style" fiddle and Jeff's guitar playing, along with his clear instructions and fun circle, square, and contra dances, are favorites of dancers everywhere. Their children often join in to add a variety of instruments including: penny whistle, drums, cello, accordion, flute, and bagpipes, or we'll get a few (or more) of them on the dance floor! Doors open at 6:45 p.m. with a new dancers lesson at 7:15 p.m. No partner is needed and beginners and all ages are welcome! Please bring your own water and snack to consume outside the hall.
