Four charged in cocaine bust

On December 29 New Windsor Police Officer Levy and Detective Pierri conducted a traffic stop on Route 9W of a vehicle out of Riverhead.

During the traffic stop it was determined that the occupants did not possess a valid license and during this process a quantity of Felony weight Cocaine was located in the vehicle.

Deputy Michael Muller and K-9 Maverick from the Orange County Sheriffs Office were also called to assist and the indication from the K-9 in the vehicle led to another quantity of Felony Weight Cocaine being located.

Arrested were: Claudio Sierra-Esteban, 32 and Rony Bonilla Morales, 28, of Flanders and Gloroa Reyes, 24 and Ricardo Cruz, 29 of Riverhead. All were charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree B- Felony and Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance 4th Degree C-Felony
