Highland Library sets hearing, vote

The Highland Public Library Board of Trustees will be holding the annual Special District meeting on Tuesday April 26 at 5:30 p.m. A reading of the proposed budget will follow a report from the President of the Board. The annual budget vote will be held in the library from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Wednesday April 27, 2022. Copies of the proposed budget may be obtained from the library beginning April 11, 2022 and on the library website.

Patrick Mason has lived and worked in this community for over 15 years. He is a Retail AVP/SM for TD Bank and has been in People Leadership/Management for over 25 years. He is a graduate of the Ulster Leadership Development Institute and a Hudson Valley Pattern for Progress Fellow. He most recently served as Vice-Chairperson of the Ulster County United Way.

Elaine Rivera, was born and raised in Highland (Elaine McCarthy) and attended Highland Schools. She was employed by the Town of Lloyd for 38 years retiring in 2013. She held the titles of Bookkeeper and Confidential Secretary to the Supervisor, Deputy Supervisor and Assessor.
