Highland Public Library launches food drive

Posted

Due to the shortage of food supply and the community need for food assistance, the Highland Public Library is asking for any non-perishable donations you may be able to supply to help out the Dutchess County Community Action Agency food pantry.

The Highland Public Library will be collecting donations thru April 30 to benefit Ulster County Community Action Agency and our community. Donation boxes will be located in the library lobby for your convenience. Please do not donate expired items.

Don’t know what to donate? Donate to their Food of the Day.
• Mac ‘n Cheese Mondays
• Tuna Tuesdays

• Peanut Butter Wednesdays
• Tomato Thursdays
• Fruity Fridays

Local residents are urged to please donate whatever they can.
