Wallkill parents Kathy Harrington, Janice Vincenzo and Tarie Lewis lead the call for the Wallkill district to livestream their school board meetings.
“We would have greater participation in the meetings, there would be more transparency,” Vincenzo said. Vincenzo and the Wallkill Parents for Dyslexia Awareness and Action group created a petition both online and physically named “WCSD’s BOE Meetings Need to be Televised Live.”
Superintendent Kevin Castle said the requests are being considered.
