Ann (Aggie) M. McCormick Hoeffner, a lifetime resident of Montgomery, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2023.

Ann was born in Goshen to Kathleen Lawder McCormick and George McCormick. Ann grew up as an only child in Maybrook.

Fortunately, she had the love and support from many cousins such as Sharon Brophy, Mary Bond, Genie Flannery, Jane Schmidt, Roseanna Mulligan and Dr. Neil Connelly and later in life Jane Hoeffner, who treated her as their sister and who all shared in their love of laughter.
Ann married the late Philip F. Hoeffner on April 25, 1953, and they were blessed with 68 years of marriage. Together, they shared three children, seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren, who affectionately called her Aggie.

She was a lifetime member of the Holy Name of Mary Church-Assumption and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America Court Assumption. Her pride for growing up in Maybrook, ran deep and she was known to tell stories of being on the basketball team and chanting the Maybrook cheer. She was employed for over 15 years as a hotel administrator (CHA). She enjoyed a Friday night of cocktails with family and friends. She found joy in shopping fashion with the brightest color and was an avid Yankees fan.

She is survived by her children; Philip J. Hoeffner (Linda), George Hoeffner, and Kathleen Hoeffner; grandchildren, Elizabeth Hoeffner (Lila), Frances Schlobohm (Eric), Theresa Pearson (Alexander), George Hoeffner (Kristine), Kim Hoeffner, Josephine Hoeffner, and Brent Hoeffner; great grandchildren Nicholas, Sam, Phoebe, Ella, Grant and Rowan; sister-in-laws Josephine Bassett and Marie Puliverent, and brother-in-law Jack Hoeffner; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband Phil, her parents, brother-in-law George Hoeffner, sister-in-law Clare Earl, brothers in law William Earl, Carl Bassett, and John Pulvirent, and sisters-in- law Karen Hoeffner and Edith Hoeffner.

Ann will be remembered for leaving the biggest impression on people’s hearts. Her smile shined bright and her heart would overflow with laughter. Anyone who met her was sure to have a smile on their face. Ann’s ultimate pride and joy was her family. Her presence will dearly be missed.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to C100 at Valley View.
