Effective January 10, 2022, Charlotte Mountain joins the City of Newburgh, assuming the role of Code Compliance Supervisor.

Previously serving as the building inspector for the Village of Cold Spring, and code enforcement officer in the Village of Mamaroneck, NY and the City of Newburgh, NY, Ms. Mountain has over 10 years’ experience as a code compliance leader. She has worked on several special projects involving distressed areas and has a positive track record of correcting a wide-range of code compliance issues in a municipal setting.

The position of Code Compliance Supervisor serves as the City’s building inspector. It is a critical position responsible for ensuring compliance with the City code. Increased compliance translates to improved safety and quality of life.

Mountain is a graduate of Mercy College and is a long-standing City resident.
