Tina Quinlan and Jody Nicoli will host the Hudson Valley’s the first annual COVID Memorial Walk in honor of loved ones lost due to COVID-19. Quinlan lost her father, Richard Masotti, on June 42020 and Nicoli, lost her brother, Steven on Sept 26, 2021 According to the latest numbers from the NYS department of Health, our region lost over 8,500 people to COVID-19. There are still an active 2,000 cases currently in Orange County alone. Hudson Valley’s First Annual Covid Memorial Walk will start at the Wooster’s Grove Memorial Park in Walden, with step off at 10 a.m. on June 4. From there, participants will walk the Walden rail trial, stopping at the Lake Osiris Crossing for a brief memorial ceremony.

Quinlan and Nicoli have been friends for years and share in the grief of having lost loved ones to a disease that caught the world by storm in the beginning of 2020. While most people have been affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic, it is important to the pair that those loved ones that were lost are remembered and honored.

Quinlan and Nicoli would like to invite everyone that wants to recognize their loved ones to contact them and register for the walk. They can be reached at covidmemorialwalk@gmail.com to find out how to register and donate.
