The Cornwall Central Dragons extended their winning streak to five games on Friday, defeating the Goshen Central Gladiators 75-60 in a commanding performance.
The Dragons (10-2) were led by a spectacular offensive outing from Jack Demetriow, who poured in a game-high 43 points. Malik Sonko chipped in eight points as Cornwall continued their dominant stretch of play, during which they’ve averaged 63 points per game.
Cornwall took control early and maintained their lead throughout, capitalizing on their balanced offensive attack and defensive intensity. Goshen (4-5), now on a two-game skid, struggled to keep pace with the Dragons’ efficiency and firepower.
