Early voting begins Saturday for June 28 Primary Elections

Primary Election for enrolled members of the Democratic and Republican party will take place on Tuesday, June 28, and poll sites throughout the County will be open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Orange County will be participating in Early Voting for the June 2022 Primary Election.

Winners of each Primary will appear on the November 8 General Election Ballot. All registered Democrats and Republicans in Ulster County are eligible to participate.

Voters will have the ability to exercise their right to vote during a nine day period before Election Day at any of the eight locations throughout the County. The following sites will be open to process any Democratic and Republican voter in Orange County: City of Newburgh Activity Center, 401 Washington Street in the City of Newburgh, Cornwall Ambulance Building, 1 Clinton Street in the Town of Cornwall, Middletown Senior Center, 62-70 West Main Street in the City of Middletown, Warwick Town Hall, 132 Kings Highway in Warwick, Village of Montgomery Senior Center, 36 Bridge Street in Montgomery, Delaware Engine Company #2, 22 Hammond Street in the City of Port Jervis, Caroline Building, 23 Hatfield Lane, Goshen, and Monroe Town Hall, 1465 Orange Turnpike in Monroe.

Early Voting will be conducted daily at the eight locations in Orange County during the following dates and times:

Saturday, June 18, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, June 19, - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, June 20, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, June 21, - 12 noon to 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 22, -12 noon to 8 p.m., Thursday, June 23, - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, June 24, - 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Saturday, June 25, - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, June 26, 2022 - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Early voting locations in Ulster County will include the New Paltz Community Center, 3 Veterans Drive and Marlborough Town Hall, 21 Milton Turnpike, Hours are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. June 18-20 and June 25-26. On Tuesday, June 21, the New Paltz site will be open 12 – 9 p.m. while the Marlborough site will be open 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. On Thursday, June 23, both sites will be open 12-8 p.m. On Friday, June 24, the New Paltz site will be open 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., while the Marlborough site will be open 12 - 8 p.m.

Statewide
The Democratic Primary for Governor will have Thomas R. Suozzi, Jumaane D. Williams and Governor Kathy D. Hochul on the ballot.

The Democratic primary for Lieutenant Governor will have Ana Maria Archille, Diana Reyna and newly-appointed Lt Gov. Antonio Delgado on the ballot.

The Republican Primary for Governor will have Rob Astorino, Andrew Guiliani, Harry Wilson and Lee Zeldin on the ballot.

Orange County

The Republican Primary for Sheriff will have Paul Arteta and Kenneth T. Jones on the ballot.
