On Sunday, March 30 at 2 p.m. join exhibiting artist Suprina at the Dorsky Musuem for hands-on making activities and discussions children and their families in conjunction with Hudson Valley Artists: Movement.
Discover the wonders of the Hudson Valley's wildlife while creating your own unique mosaic art. From bees and monarch butterflies to bog turtles and golden eagles, these incredible creatures are struggling to survivie in our region, but awareness and small changes can help ensure their future. Through guided questions and discussion, participants will reflect on their own expereinces with these species and explaore ways to make a difference.
This hands-out art activity is perfect for kids and adults alike. You'll have the chance to create colorful moasics featuring local wildlife or design you own masterpiece using a variety of materials, including ecycled plastic bits we often throw away.
