The Friends of Hill-Hold and Brick House Museums are pleased to announce that they will be hosting their 40th annual “Herb Day Luncheon” fundraising event on Tuesday, August 3.
The program will begin at 11 a.m. in the charming 1870s Barn at Hill Hold with a hands-on presentation on how to decoupage terracotta pots. Everyone will have an opportunity to make a pot to take home, perfect for planting herbs. Then guests will head to the tented front lawn of the museum where they will enjoy a multi course, herb themed luncheon prepared by Graze Restaurant of Campbell Hall.
Other highlights of the afternoon will include the opportunity to win door prizes, bid on fabulous gift baskets in the Silent Auction and buy a chance to win one of several beautiful herb planters.
The cost for Herb Day is $45 per person and advance registration and pre-payment are required. The museum is located at 128 State Route 416, Hamptonburgh.
