Dean Klotz had a goal and two assists as the Highland boys’ lacrosse team saw its season end on May 23 in the Section 9 Class C semifinals with an 8-3 loss to the second-seeded Rondout Valley Ganders.
Connor Slinskey scored four goals for the Ganders, who went on to face the top-seeded Wallkill Panthers on Saturday for the championship. Jack Stewart had two goals. Landen Frey and Lucas Aspino each had a goal. Johnny Soi had two assists. Ethan Koch and Josh Newmann had an assist each. Alex Bollin had seven saves.
A.J. Palmer had a goal and an assist for the Huskies (9-8). Frank Guidi had a goal. Landon Zehr made 19 saves.
