Orange County Arts Council’s OC Live Music Series presents its second show of the season on Friday, June 3, 7-10 p.m. Entry is at 6:30 p.m.

This month features SOLJOI77, an alternative R&B band, Taylor Plas, an Americana/Soul/Folk singer/songwriter, and Judi Silvano. Registration is necessary to attend.

This event is scheduled to be outdoors at Safe Harbors Green, 97 Broadway, Newburgh. In case of inclement weather, OC Live will take place inside the Lobby at the Ritz, 107 Broadway, Newburgh. OC Live music series is sponsored by Rill Music Studios and supported by EC Media, Nail Music and Everyone Needs Sound. Local eats and beverages will be available for purchase.

SOLJOI77 is an original Alternative R&B band, blending the flavors of Neosoul, Electronic/Dance, and Jazz. Composed of singer/lyricist CHAYA and producer/composer Chris on keys; their songs explore love, empowerment, and spirituality encompassing positive energy. CHAYA expresses herself in ornate language flowing between earthy vocals and spoken word, set over the soundscape of Chris’ euphoric and sensual compositions. For the live SOLJOI77 experience, catch them with Matt on bass, Dave on drums, and David on electric guitar for a romantic, fun, and uplifting vibe. Taylor Plas is an Americana/Soul/Folk singer/songwriter based in New York. Drawing from a deep emotional well reminiscent of torch singers from days of old, like Patsy Cline, Etta James, and Amy Winehouse, Judi Silvano is a jazz vocalist who has been associated with New York City’s scene since the nineteen-eighties. She has performed with some of the biggest names in jazz, as well as performed at a multitude of festivals and concert houses around the globe As a progressive composer and arranger, Orange County Arts Council’s music committee, composed of professional musicians throughout the region, have developed a creative solution to support musicians. O.C. Live offers musicians the opportunity to directly connect with audiences and provides our community with enriching local performances. Now hybrid, audiences can attend in person or tune in to Orange County Arts Council’s Social media to listen to local musicians. The pilot program had approximately 2000 viewers. The Orange County Arts Council music committee includes Andres Santiago, Neil Alexander, Everett Collie, Gretchen Weerheim, Tom Kennedy, and Waylen Roche. Tickets are $10 in advance and can be purchased at OCArtsCouncil.org.
