Lynn Louise Killington Fischer, 71, formerly of Roslyn, NY, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on May 27, 2018.

Lynn was born to the late Richard and Imogene Bleser on April 4, 1947. She was raised in Laurel Hollow with her three siblings, Richard, Dale & Riki (d. 1978). She graduated high school in 1965 from the Cathedral School of St. Mary in Garden City, NY and went on to study Interior Design and Architecture at New York Institute of Technology, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. Lynn continued her studies at Pratt Institute, receiving a Masters degree in Architecture and Environmental Design. She spent her professional years working for Scalamandre and Stark Carpet.

Lynn was married to her beloved husband, Todd Fischer of Manhasset, for 32 years, raising their family in historic Roslyn, NY, until his passing in 2004. Lynn is survived by her son Morgan, his wife Dana and their son William of Upper Brookville, NY; her son Jarrod, his wife Karen and their sons Kyle and Tyler of Massapequa, NY and her siblings Dale Workman of Delray Beach, FL and Richard Bleser of Upper Co, MD.

During the past 10 years, Lynn lived in Newburgh, where she made some wonderful friends and spent her time on the board of the Newburgh and Fishkill Historical Societies, as well as other preservation associations, maintaining historical landmarks, restoring landscapes and fundraising.

There will be a Memorial Service for Lynn on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at St. John’s Episcopal Church., 1670 Route 25A, Cold Spring Harbor, NY. Reception to follow.
