The Marlboro High School Drama Club will be presenting their fall shows in the auditorium from November 3 through November 5. Curtain time is 7pm and tickets are $12 for adults and $9 for students.
Drama Club Advisor Lori Pilong said they will be presenting two short pieces, “Selfie” by Bradley Hayward. The show highlights mounting problems, “for a group of high school students as they prepare for the future. As they document their senior year, one click at a time, they come to realize life is not about what other people see, it’s about the pictures they have of themselves.”
The Drama Club is also presenting “Bad Auditions by Bad Actors,” by Ian McWethy. This piece depicts a casting director who has one day to find the leads for a theater production of Romeo and Juliet. What seems like a simple task proves impossible when the pool of actors are...well...come and find out.
In addition to these pieces, the Drama Club is presenting a Haunted House on Saturday, October 29. The family friendly event is scheduled from noon to 4 p.m. followed by a ‘hair-raising’ event from 4 to 9 p.m., all at the high school. A $5 donation is suggested.
