Marlboro High School’s three throwers had a successful weekend at the Nike Indoor Nationals track and field meet from March 10-12 at the Armory Track and Field Center in New York City.

Jose Iraola-Ceely finished 12th in the championship division of the boys’ weight throw, reaching a distance of 61-5.50.

The Dukes’ two female throwers – Juliana Juras and Vic Maher – also had strong finishes to their winter season.

Maher finished ninth in the Emerging Elite division of the girls’ weight throw, reaching a distance of 38-11.50, capping off her first season throwing the weight.

Juliana Juras finished 21st in the Emerging elite girls’ shot put event, throwing a personal best of 34-8.
