Marlborough celebrates community

The Fire Department showered the pond with water September 17 at the town park as part of Marlborough’s Community Day. The annual free event is put on by the Marlborough Police, Highway and Fire Departments as a way to give back to the residents.
Parents and kids are big fans of the slide.
Kids got a chance to sit in a helicopter from the New York City Environmental Protection Agency. The $5 million machine is one of two that keep watch over the reservoirs in the mid-Hudson region that supply water to the city.
