NBNY Art Seen - Gallery & Art Space Monthly Event in Newburgh

Last Saturday of each month from April through October

Posted

NBNY Art Seen is an initiative by the community of galleries & art spaces in the City of Newburgh. Occurring on the Last Saturday of each Month from April through October the spaces participating will be open during the afternoon to the public. This monthly art walk coincides with the Hudson Valley art season that generally runs from April through October.

We are pleased to present our second season of NBNY ART SEEN inviting the public to experience the growing art scene in Newburgh NY. Nestled in and around the historic district of this city on the cliffs of the Hudson River in the mid-Hudson Valley NBNY ART SEEN gives viewers a chance to walk from art space to art space while taking in the historic architecture and blossoming restaurant and shopping area found overlooking the vistas of the Hudson Valley.

Currently participating are: Visitor Center, Ann Street Gallery, ADS / DAS Gallery Project Room , Grit Works, CMA Gallery at Mount Saint Mary College, the Mindy Ross Gallery at SUNY Orange Newburgh, Elijah Wheat Showroom, and Holland Tunnel Gallery . NBNY Art Seen is hoping to expand this roster of locations as it continues and is excited about reflecting the diversity of art in the Newburgh Community.

Interested art spaces and galleries are invited to contact NBNY Art Seen to get involved with monthly art walks. Please contact our new facilitator James Jackson at nbnyartseen(at)gmail.com for further information.

Hours are 1 to 5 pm for all galleries participating on the Last Saturday of the Month - please do check the website for updates and special events. https://www.newburghart.org/nbny-artseen
