Newburgh Elite excel at NYC armory

It was a good three days for the Newburgh Elite Track Club at the Nike Indoor National Track and Field meet held at the New York City Armory from March 10-12 at the New York City.

Newburgh did its best on the second day of the meet when the 4x800-meter relay team of Brady Danyluk, David Pinnock, Jordan Hidalgo and Devin Batelic won first place in the high school Emerging Elite relay with a time of 8:08.72.

On the first day of the meet, middle schooler Dejuan McKenzie placed fifth in the middle school 400-meter dash with a time of 54.09, setting a new school record.

Newburgh’s 4x400-meter relay team of Xaiver Williams, Anthony Barrett, David Pinnock and Anthony Burnett were 10th with a time of 3:25.17.
