Due to the Newburgh Illuminated Festival on June 4, 2022, the following roads will be closed, with parking restrictions in effect beginning at 2:00 a.m. on June 4, 2022 and ending at 2:00 a.m. on June 5, 2022:
- Lander Street (between First Street and Broadway)
- Chambers Street (between First Street and Broadway)
- Liberty Street (between First Street and Benkard Avenue)
- Grand Street (between First Street and Broadway)
- Broadway (between Johnston Street and Colden Street)
- Ann Street (from 111 Ann Street to Grand Street)
- Washington Street (from 111 Ann Street to Washington Place)
- Lafayette Street (between Johnes Street and Liberty Street)
- Colden Street (between Washington Street and South William Street)
- East Parmenter Street (from 9 East Parmenter Street to Liberty Street)
- Spring Street (from 7 Spring Street to Liberty Street)
- South William Street (from 109 William Lander Street to Liberty Street)
Temporary “NO PARKING” signs will be posted along the impacted roads. Everyone must comply with these temporary parking restrictions and road closures, which will be enforced by the City of Newburgh Police Department.
Cars parked in violation of these parking restrictions WILL BE TOWED.
Parking will be allowed in the lot on 128 Broadway (behind the Department of Motor Vehicles), the lot on 54 Grand Street (behind Orange-Ulster BOCES), and in the City Municipal Parking Lots located on Ann Street and Grand Street.
