Incumbent Councilwoman Sheryl Mellick and newcomer Michael Sedducato were the apparent winners in Tuesday's geneal election in the Town of Montgomery.
"On behalf of Team Montgomery, we want to say thank you to everyone who cast their vote in this election. For those that voted for our team we thank you for believing in us and for affirming the positive direction our town is heading," said Town Supervisor Brian Maher in a statement released Tuesday night. "For those that did not vote for us we look forward to working with you to help continue to make our town a better place to live, work and raise a family. Our campaign this year was a positive one filled with pride in what we have been able to get done and hope for what we wish to accomplish in the future."
