Assemblyman Colin J. Schmitt (R,C,I,LBT,SAM - New Windsor) and Mrs. Nikki Schmitt have launched the 99th Assembly District 2022 Summer Reading Program consisting of the NYS Assembly Summer Reading Challenge to encourage kids to read through the summer months and promote youth literacy along with their 3rd Annual summer book club for adults.

Students who read at least 15 minutes per day for 40 days this summer and send the completed reading challenge form to Schmitt’s office will receive an official Assembly Excellence in Reading certificate.
