In the race for a seat on the Plattekill Town Board, Republican Steve O'Flaherty turned back Democratic challenger Mike Lembo by a margin of 2,681 – 2,178

In the 103rd Assembly District, Incumbent Sarahana Shrestha (D-W) defeated challenger Jack Hayes (R-C) with 63 percent of the vote, according to an unofficial tally

In the 104th Assembly district, Jonathan Jacobson (D-Newburgh) ran unopposed.

Congressional Race - Incumbent Pat Ryan [D/WF] defeated challenger Allison Esposito [R/C] in the race for the 18th Congressional District seat. Ryan took 54 percent of the vote, according to unofficial results.

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to my supporters, hard-working volunteers, and staff. Thank you for your countless hours of dedication and support throughout this race. Since the start I was always focused on running an issues-based campaign and staying above the fray of personal attacks and mudslinging,” said Esposito in a statement released Tuesday night. “I am proud of the campaign we ran, and I will never stop fighting to bring common sense back to our government. I hope that Congressman Ryan will fight for the issues that thousands of NY-18 residents who voted for me care so deeply about. My commitment to New Yorkers remains unwavering, and I will always fight for the principles of freedom and liberty that make our country great. May God continue to bless our great state and nation.”
