Despite the blustery weather on Sunday, hundreds of children and their parents flocked to the Kristi Babcock Park in New Windsor for the annual Easter Egg Hunt, hosted by the New Windsor Recreation Department.

Each child received a free chocolate bunny, courtesy of Alps Sweet Shop in Beacon, and a few eggs unlocked free $50 gift certificates to New Windsor Recreation Department activities. Lucky winners of the gift certificates were:
Ages 3-5: Jeremiah Appleton, Eva Medina and Mateo Cruz.
Ages 5-8: Matthew Sanchez, Leo Delossantos and Yael Smith.
