Newburgh traffic stop reveals two handguns

On January 6, at approximately 3:19 p.m. City of Newburgh Police Officer Ambrosetti and New York State Trooper Richichi, while working the Precision Policing Initative, effected a Vehicle and Traffic Stop with in the area of Broadway and Lander Street.
During their investigation officer's recovered 2 loaded firearms and 281 grams of marijuana from within the occupied vehicle.
One firearm, a Glock 42 .380 caliber was reported stolen from the State of North Carolina and loaded with five live rounds. The other firearm was a Glock 19 9mm, loaded with 8 live rounds.
The following occupants were charged with the two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree (Felony), and other related offenses.
